Bald Mountain is located in North Central Idaho. Access routes are from the North or South, State Route 95 and from the East or West, State Highway 12.
From North or West take Highway 12 to Orofino. Bald Mountain is 28 miles northeast of Orofino via the Grangemont Road, take Michigan Avenue through town.
From the South or East take Highway 12 to Greer. Junction Highway 11 (the Gold Rush Historic Byway) takes you to Pierce. Bald Mountain is 10 miles north of Pierce on Highway 11.
